Before founding MTB, Tamryn Lesley Manuel built her career in the South African private sector financial services industry — gaining first-hand knowledge of how pension, provident, and insurance systems operate from the inside. That experience is what sets MTB apart: this is not a company that learned the industry from the outside.
The Founder's Blueprint is simple: to use that knowledge as a force for good. Tamryn founded Manuels Tracing Beneficiary out of a deep passion for economic justice — driven by the belief that disadvantaged South Africans should never lose access to money they rightfully earned, simply because the system made it too difficult to claim.
Tamryn holds a National Qualifications Framework Level 4 (NQF4) qualification in Financial Services and is RE5 accredited — the regulatory examination required of all representatives operating under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS). She is a fully accredited financial services representative, registered with the relevant authorities, and compliant with all FSCA requirements.
She serves as MTB's registered Public Officer and appointed Information Officer under POPIA, and is the sole signatory on all fund communications, FSCA correspondence, and mandate agreements. Every claim is personally overseen by Tamryn — from first trace to final payout.
